North West PR firm Polaris Media has signed a new deal with Premier League rugby club Sale Sharks to join its Premier Business Club.
The deal will enable Ellesmere Port based Polaris to entertain its clients at all Sale’s home games at the impressive new Salford City Stadium.
Polaris director Ben Pinnington said the firm is delighted to support Sale as they fight to remain the sole club from the North of England in the premiership.
“We are passionate about rugby and have enjoyed supporting Sale enormously since we joined the business club in January,” he said. “We have been very warmly welcomed by the Sale Sharks. The club is switched on to business and the business club events will really add value to our investment. It is great to be part of an ambitious club and the list of Sale’s commercial sponsors speaks for itself.”
Sale Sharks business development manager Steve Hanley said the club is pleased to welcome Polaris to the business club.
“Our business club is rapidly expanding and is a very important dimension to our future growth,” he said. “We have a huge amount to offer businesses like Polaris. The standard of rugby, the standard of facilities and the ability to meet business owners and contacts who love their rugby too.”
Polaris co-director Sam Pinnington who plays for Didsbury RFC said Polaris has seen real interest from friends and colleagues who want to watch top level rugby.
“There is enormous good will for Sale among rugby supporters in the region and a real desire to watch premiership rugby,” he said. “The new facilities at Salford City Stadium are highly impressive and an ideal way to entertain guests and meet like-minded contacts.”
