Wirral based ANH Refractories Europe has completed a deal to supply materials for use within France’s high end aluminium manufacturing sector.
Refractories are used in the manufacturing process to line furnaces, kilns, incinerators and reactors operating at ultra-high temperatures.
ANH has supplied Warrington based TAB Refractories with two different products Greengun-85 and Versaflow 65 ALC.
TAB Refractories will combine these materials with its own products to make ‘big block’ refractories for Constellium, based in Neuf-Brisach, in the Alsace region of France.
ANH managing director Peter Rooney said these refractories will be used to aid Constellium’s manufacturing production of high end aluminium parts.
Constellium supplies aluminium products to the aerospace, transport, defence, packaging, building and solar/wind energy sectors.

Greengun-85 dramatically lowers furnace downtime because it can be pneumatically gunned. This means it can be applied with compressed air reducing setting times. Meanwhile, the other product supplied in this latest deal Versaflow 65 ALC contains aluminium inhibitor which makes it more resistance to abrasion from metals.”
American owned ANH Refractories delivers products to the aluminium, petrochemical, oil, cement and glass sectors.
Mr Rooney said aluminium sector is a prime area for growth in 2013.
