Mitchell Charlesworth’s Chester office is announcing a new promotion after posting a 15pc sales increase.
Heather Townsend has been promoted to a managerial role at the St Nicholas Street firm following years of committed service. Mitchell Charlesworth Chester-based partner and chairman Rob Hall said the move comes after the firm recorded a 15pc increase in client fees between April 2015 and April 2016.
“Heather delivers first class customer service and been unstinting in her hard work for many years,” said Mr Hall. “We are delighted with her progression as she continues to diligently build her career. A recent increase in business has also meant that the Chester office requires greater support within its senior team. Heather is skilled, experienced and well equipped for the challenge. She will now join two other senior managers helping train and manage other colleagues as the total staff count has now risen to 25. They will be further supported by myself and two other senior partners Marlon Armstrong and Tim Adcock.
“Heather will also be taking on larger client delivery responsibilities as we continue to drive momentum and push for further growth,” added Mr Hall. “Heather has broad experience supporting SMEs, owner-managed business and audit work. She has also found a niche within the law sector working on behalf of solicitors and legal practices which remains a target area for the firm.”
Miss Townsend, a former Castell Alun High School student, joined Mitchell Charlesworth in 2007. “It’s been highly enjoyable developing my career at Mitchell Charlesworth which has a clear identity and a strong regional presence with offices in Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington, Chester and Widnes,” said Miss Townsend. “One of our key selling points is the ability to give clients greater value for money in terms of range and depth of specialist advice, compared to any regional competitor.
