Polaris has been appointed by one of India’s biggest companies Tech Mahindra to promote the opening of its new North of England headquarters.
Polaris managing director Ben Pinnington said the company worked closely with Tech Mahindra for two months to help manage the media for an opening ceremony of its new Salford office.
“Polaris offers professional PR and media management to Indian companies in the UK,” he said. “So we were delighted to support a company of Tech Mahindra’s standing in UK India relations. We had previously interviewed Mahindra in India, for our www.IndiaGBnews.com website, so were very aware of the incredible achievements of the company. It was therefore a great privilege to help Tech Mahindra promotes its work here on our home patch of the North of England. For the Manchester launch we were able to generate publicity across print, online and on BBC radio. In addition, we provided media training, photography, see picture below, and film services.”

The Tech Mahindra deal is the latest in a series of overseas related business wins for Polaris this year. The company has also picked up two new Polish clients Baltec Marine and Intermarine UK, in addition to new orders from Oman Shipping Company and the Blue Atlantic port and logistics park near Lisbon in Portugal.
Tech Mahindra’s new Manchester office will create 60 new jobs. The company has a $4.7billion global turnover and employs more than 115,000 people worldwide.
