Huge thanks to BBC One NWT for reporting an inspiring story from our client Hero Cycles Ltd. Hero, the biggest bike maker in the world, was approached by Worsley inventor Les McMahon to help develop a trike he has made for neighbour Lewis Flint, aged 13, who has an undiagnosed genetic condition. Thanks to Les’ vision and care for Lewis’ family Hero is planning to bring the prototype to a mass global market at an affordable price. Presently the only similar bike on the market is £5000 which is another heavy expense for families with disabled children. Indian owned Hero is aiming to create a version for £500 and make it part of its Manchester designed Insync family range.
