Very much looking forward to exhibiting at Nor-Shipping this week, showing how we can help exporters grow.

Polaris is sharing a stand with our brilliant American marine services tech client Attender in the USA pavilion in Hall T (T01-28).

Please drop by for a brew and a signed free copy of my Amazon best selling book ‘Making Waves: PR strategies to transform your maritime business.’

🚢 Reputation management is now a key priority in maritime as reported in the recent International Chamber of Shipping Maritime Barometer report.

🚢 The report draws on a survey of ship owners. It says maritime is at a higher risk of negative public opinion because of media reports on supply chain issues and shipping’s GHG emissions.

🚢 A key theme of my book is to encourage maritime businesses to take a more professional approach to public relations. The reality of PR is that it is much harder to convert people with a negative opinion than it is to reinforce a positive one.

🚢 There is an urgency therefore for the industry to come together like a rising tide to win hearts and minds in the mainstream.

🚢We have a terrific story of innovation to tell. The abundant trade press is brimming with stories of autonomous ships, decarbonisation and alternative fuels. We can reflect the brilliance of this story into the mainstream and build understanding of the immense engineering challenge to decarbonise.
