Ben will be promoting Polaris’ transatlantic PR and business development services at the fair which traditionally attracts a large US and international audience. Polaris established a US company in Chicago in June this year to diversify and strengthen its offering to US, UK and international clients. Polaris is working with a range of American, British and international maritime businesses wanting to raise awareness and create opportunities on both sides of the Atlantic.
“We recognise to stay competitive we have to offer clients more,” he said. “Opening an American company enables us to add more value with more contacts, market knowledge and greater ability to open doors.”
In October this year Polaris helped relaunch the Chicago Propeller Club bringing in some of the leading organisations in the Great Lakes, Mississippi River maritime trade, reflecting Chicago’s status as the principle interior trade route to the Gulf and the Atlantic.
