Polaris has helped Cheshire and North Wales transport client Delsol reach an audience of millions over the Christmas period.
The North West based PR specialist secured coverage for Delsol across national media including BBC Online and The Daily Telegraph as well as regional titles including the Liverpool Echo and the North Wales Daily Post.
It follows news that Delsol is supporting workers from stricken rival City Link which announced it was going into administration on Christmas Day with 2727 jobs under threat.
Using Polaris’ news writing skills and media contacts, Delsol was able to reach BBC Online, which is the most popular news website in the UK attracting around 40 million unique users a week. (Click on the following link to view the BBC interview http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-30641563 )

The media promotion enabled the pallet and parcel specialist to explain it had received calls and emails from City Link workers and customers, looking for support. Director Tony Parry said the firm is doing all it can to offer City Link’s skilled workers jobs. Delsol is also offering support to City Link’s customers with its sameday, overnight and international delivery and collection services.
