Polaris Media is expanding its range of services to include corporate video.
The company was appointed in May by ferry operator Red Funnel to make a film documenting the historic keel laying ceremony of its new ferry the Red Kestrel at Polaris’ client Cammell Laird shipyard on Merseyside: http://watch here The job followed a film Polaris made in April for Indian IT giant, Tech Mahindra, to document the opening of its new office in Salford watch here and read more.
Most recently in late June Polaris made a film for Cammell Laird shipyard interviewing key staff who have worked on the RSS Sir David Attenborough polar ship watch here. The film will be shown at the much anticipated shipway launch of the ship to an audience of more than 2000 people in July. Polaris will also provide PR and photography services for the Sir David’s launch which is set to be one of the biggest stories in the UK on the day.
Polaris managing director Ben Pinnington said corporate films are an effective way of communicating across media.
“The Polaris team has made some really excellent films which showcase our clients at their best,” he said. “These films can then be used on presentations and on social media as well as at events. Polaris is expanding our service offering to give clients better value. Through our PR work we understand our clients messaging very well, so we are transferring this knowledge into film, web design, social media campaigns, copywriting, translations and creative design.”
Polaris has offices in Manchester, Merseyside and Lisbon. The company is run by journalist brothers Ben and Sam Pinnington and specialises in PR and marketing services for the maritime, construction, engineering and IT sectors. Polaris has clients in the UK, India, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Romania.
