Marine industry PR specialist Polaris has attended the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) in Amsterdam to help promote its maritime clients and make stronger contacts in the industry.
METS is the largest event of its kind in the world for the leisure marine sector.
Polaris director Sam Pinnington said three of Polaris clients attended METS – life jacket manufacturer International Safety Products (ISP) electrical engineering firm SeaKing which specialises in superyachts, safety seal manufacturer Roxtec.
“METs is very well established and attracts thousands of people from the marine industry,” he said. “We were able to stage a press call for ISP to launch an important new life raft product. We were also able to introduce its directors to a collection of important trade magazines and reporters.”
Sam said the fair is an excellent platform for meeting key players in the industry.
“We made some excellent contacts and generated some very interesting new business leads.”
