The half page interview with Lattimer CEO Stephen Waterhouse was part of a series of ‘Exporting Britain’ features in the Telegraph’s business pull-out supplement. The report also appears on the Telegraph website. The Telegraph print edition has a daily readership of 1.3m while its website receives more than 72m hits a month.
Polaris director Sam Pinnington said securing national and international coverage for exporter clients is a prime objective of Polaris’ campaigns.
“The starting point for all campaigns at Polaris is: aim as high as possible, never knowlingly undersell a client. Lattimer is one of the many unsung British businesses working incredibly hard exporting worldwide. Coverage like this is recognition for its years of hard graft travelling to all four corners of the globe to create a sustainable business, creating employment and wealth on Merseyside. Top line coverage provides a terrific boost to profile and reputation.”
In March another Merseyside based manufacturing client of Polaris, lifejacket maker, International Safety Products (ISP) was interviewed by BBC SIX O’Clock national news. The package was part of series of reports on the economy ahead of the Budget. ISP managing director John Rogers was interviewed giving his views on exporting. The SIX O’Clock news has 4m viewers.
