Polaris has been appointed to promote one the UK’s most established and rapidly expanding construction firms Morris & Spottiswood.
The Scottish headquartered firm, which was established in 1925, is seeing particularly strong growth from its North of England operations in Leeds and Warrington and is looking to Polaris to help grow its profile.
Fit-out specialist Morris & Spottiswood grew its turnover to £74.4million in 2014 and workforce to 400. It is predicting turnover from English work to rise to £35million in the next year from its present level of £19.5million. Its clients include Boots, Regus, Superdrug, Standard Life, Places for People, Warburtons and several high street banks. Polaris will focus the campaign on promoting the fit-out and mechanical and electrical divisions of the company to target sectors of healthcare, education, banking, retail and commercial offices.
Polaris director Ben Pinnington said it has experience of promoting a range of firms in the construction sector including architects, site safety specialists, crane hire businesses, electrical engineers and land reclamation firms.
“Morris & Spottiswood is a great fit for us and we are already seeing a great response from the media to its work across the North West, Yorkshire and wider UK,” he said. “The regional business press in Leeds, Merseyside and Manchester has lots of property related pages and dedicated websites while and the national property press is keen to hear what major players like Morris & Spottiswood are doing. It is also really positive to promote a business which is creating jobs and work for local people and sub contractors.”
