Polaris Media has beaten off stiff competition to become a finalist in the ‘most entrepreneurial PR firm’ category at the forthcoming EN Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
The shortlisting has been made by a judging panel including former Dragaon’s Den star and award winning entrepreneur Rachel Elnaugh as well as Dr Imran Hakim CEO – Hakim Group who also became nationally known on Dragons’ Den after securing investment with Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis. The panel was completed with serial entrepreneur and Better Bathrooms CEO Colin Stevens.
Polaris has seen rapid growth since being found in 2011 by entrepreneur brothers Ben and Sam Pinnington. The company has promoted some of the region’s most high profile businesses including the CBI and Cammell Laird. This year has also seen the company expand into the Middle East winning work with $1.5bn Oman Drydock Company, the newest and biggest shipyard in the Gulf. Polaris is due to appoint distributors in the Middle East and Eastern Europe later this year.
The awards are now in their 13th year and take place at Mere Country Club on October 16.
